Lifetime Warranty
Sandpiper of California offers a lifetime warranty against any
manufacturer's defects for the life of the bag. If a product ever fails due to a manufacturing
defect they will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at their discretion. This
warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear
and tear, or the natural breakdown of the colors and materials over extended time and use. For
warranty evaluation email Pipergear Canada Ltd. at pipergear@shaw.ca to receive an RMA# prior
to shipping to Langley BC. All shipping must be prepaid. Pipergear Canada Ltd. will not be
responsible for lost or damaged in-bound packages. Registered products must be clean.
Return & Replacement Policy
Defective merchandise may be returned upon receipt of a Return Merchandise
Authorization Number (RMA#). Authorized returns must be freight pre-paid. Authorized return of
saleable merchandise is subject to a 15% restocking fee upon approved Pipergear Canada
inspection of the product. All freight/shortage claims must be made within 10 days after receipt
Other Conditions
Orders will be billed at prices in effect at time of shipment. There shall be no liability for failure to
perform any or all of our obligations herein stated, if such failure is caused by strikes, labour
troubles, acts of god, accidents, wars, sabotage, embargo, inability to obtain materials, any
governmental authority having jurisdiction over us, or all other acts beyond our control. Actual
photographs and product descriptions in catalog may vary slightly as design modifications do
occur at factories to ensure products are upgraded to meet an exceed quality and functionality
requirements as set out by Sandpiper of California. Colors may vary from catalog photographs
and may not be depicted precisely. Pipergear Canada Ltd. is not responsible for errors or
omissions in this product catalog.
What does "Lifetime" mean?
Our products are covered under warranty, to the original owner, for the lifetime of the product. Product lifetime varies due to normal wear. The product's "lifetime" specifically refers to the life of the product, or at such a time that, through normal use, the product can no longer function for the specific purpose intended.
Are rips or tears covered by the warranty?
Rips, tears, burns and holes are not covered under the terms of our warranty policy. We understand that even the best cared bags can meet with an unforeseen or unexplained accident. If your product by Sandpiper of California becomes damaged, we will repair it for a reasonable charge.
Are the zippers covered by the warranty?
We do our best to provide durable, reliable components and have confidence that they will provide good service. Zippers are not covered by the lifetime warranty since we do not actually manufacture the zippers.
Is the normal wear and tear covered warranty?
We manufacture all of our products to meet our high standards. However, regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your Sandpiper of California product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. The Sandpiper of California warranty covers defects in workmanship, regardless of the age of the product, but it does not cover normal wear and tear.
Will my product by Sandpiper of California be repaired or replaced?
If your product by Sandpiper of California fails due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect, we will repair or replace the item, free of charge. Please keep in mind that our warranty provides us with the option to repair first and replacement is not guaranteed. If the product is not repairable, or if the cost of repairing the item exceeds the cost of a new one, we will replace it.
Many of our customers become very attached to their Sandpiper products, and do not want us to exercise the option to replace. If your Sandpiper product has special memories attached to it that make it irreplaceable to you, please include a letter or conspicuous note with the shipped item and we will handle the product accordingly.
